FAQ

We always operate our airboats at a safe speed per conditions. They are capable of reaching speeds up to 30 mph.

You will be on the water up and running about 55-60 minutes. This is how long it takes to cover all the trails airboats are permitted to run.

No. We are surrounded by Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Tours are not permitted within state and federal parks.

Capacity is 1–6 passengers per airboat (maximum of 6 passengers, regardless of age). This is a Coast Guard regulation. No exceptions.

Dress to be outdoors and appropriately for the weather on your tour day. You will be exposed to the sun and wind. Sun protection is always recommended!

You may get sprayed or misted. If it rains, you will get soaked. In rainy months, we always recommend guests bring a change of clothes in case of rain.

You have the chance to see wildlife all year round. There are too many factors to say which times are better.

No, we do not. We prefer to treat the native wildlife with respect and experience them in nature not captivity. No one should ever feed alligators in the wild—it’s both dangerous and illegal. If you hope to see gators but don’t encounter any on your tour, we can recommend a local spot a short distance away where you’re likely to see them in their natural habitat.

In the event there is lightning, high winds or other potentially dangerous weather conditions, we will reschedule your tour at no additional charge.

We kindly ask for as much advance notice as possible, preferably 24 hours before your scheduled tour on phone reservations and 72 hours in advance for online reservations. We’d be happy to reschedule rather than cancel your tour.

You can make a reservation for a tour as many as 90 days (three months) in advance.

Absolutely. We have guests as young as one month old. Facilities and boats are specially designed to accommodate handicapped passengers. Wheelchairs and walkers are not allowed on the boats once they leave the dock. A crew member will stow them in the office for safe keeping during your tour.

Yes! It is a smooth safe ride. Our captains are always attentive to special needs and concerns of passengers. We recommend you check with your doctor if you have concerns.

Only registered service animals with legal documents are allowed. You must let us know when purchasing your tickets in advance. We do not recommend this because of potential safety concerns for the animals themselves.

We recommend all your personal belongings be secured in your vehicle.

Yes, there is free parking right in front of our building as well as in the overflow lot across the street.

We do not provide transportation. We recommend renting a vehicle for the day. Our location is remote, miles away from a city with Ubers or taxi service. If you use Uber, please keep in mind they never wait and do not return for pickup.
